Details *. Romancing the Nerd (the sequel to The Summer I Became A Nerd) does not disappoint. I absolutely enjoyed this book. It's riveting, humorous, and thoroughly fun.

I like the switching POVs of Dan and Zelda. The romance is sweet and not sensual. There is a scene where Logan and Maddie make out, but it is only observed on Dan's part/5(42). Romancing the Nerd (the sequel to The Summer I Became A Nerd) does not disappoint. I absolutely enjoyed this book.

I enjoyed Romancing the Nerd, it was a feel good read, that I think I was smiling and snickering all the way through reading. Dan was such a sweetheart, who I think just lost his way a little with his new found popularity and too much pressure from his parents, I mean it is High School we do need to have a bit of fun even if it's the nerdy kind!!!!/5(8).

"This book speaks to the nerd inside of me!" -Jessica, Book Sake. It was a complete cheeseball of a story but not in a bad way, in fact Romancing the Nerd has a certain charm that keeps your attention the entire time.

Honestly I thought I would get bored with the story, I love a good love story but sometimes they can be too much. Romancing The Nerd.

Romancing the Nerd by Leah Rae Miller (Website, Twitter, Facebook, Goodreads) I loved loved The Summer I Became a Nerd so to say I was anticipating Romancing the Nerd would probably be a huge understatement.

Avid reader and book blogger, lover of music, writing, my kid & my cats. Romancing the Nerd is the second book in the Nerd series by Leah Rae Miller.

Each of the books can be read as a standalone, and while the first book looks really cute and has been on my TBR pile since its’ release, I have yet to read it. However, I had no problem jumping right in with this book. I think the connection with the two is Dan/5.

Read the first book in the series, The Summer I Became a Nerd!I’m patiently *cough* anxiously *cough* awaiting my copy (of course I finally used an Amazon gift card to snatch it up!) – I loved Maddie and Logan in Romancing the Nerd and can’t wait to 4/5.

A teen rom-com about a nerd who becomes popular. Dan Garrett returns in Miller’s (The Summer I Became a Nerd, etc.) YA novel, this time as a romantic and Zelda Potts (with whom he shares narration duty) have always identified as nerds: their world is ruled by video games, live-action role-playing parties, and the local comic-book : Leah Rae Miller.

She loves comic books, lava lamps, fuzzy socks, and cherry coke. She spends most of her days reading things she likes and writing things she hopes other people will like.

Her YA novel, The Summer I Became A Nerd, was released Summer from Entangled Teen. Romancing the Nerd is the second book in the Nerd series, following on from The Summer I Became a Nerd from While this second installation involves the characters from the first book, it is not necessary to have read it to enjoy this one, as I did/5(12).

♥ Quick Thoughts and Rating: 4 stars. Romancing the Nerd was a perfect companion novel to The Summer I Became a Nerd where we first met Dan. This novel was delightful in all its geek glory, and while parts of it were a tad on the predictable side, it was still so much fun. Miller gets adorkable just right every single time.

♥ The Lowdown: Our beloved 4/5.
